With over a decade in the entertainment industry, we’ve picked up a few tips and tricks, and after being asked by ren faire colleagues around the country about workshops on promo kits and pricing, we’ve now compiled a comprehensive course list for you! If we don’t currently have scheduled the workshop that you are looking for, no worries! Just pull together a group of 4 or 5 friends who are interested in the same workshop and we will find a time that works for everyone. Interested in a topic that we don’t have listed? -Promo Kits: Judas and Magnolia share their personal tips and tricks of the trade that are tried and true amongst entertainers nationwide on how to get the bookings you’re looking for at Renaissance and medieval faires. This is an online event, and it will include: –A presentation of Judas and Magnolia’s promo kit, including a Q&A. –Active workshopping on YOUR promo kit. To make the most of your time with us, please come prepared to take an active part in brainstorming your materials and content, and have the ability to take notes and make to do lists. If you’re an entertainer struggling to get bookings on the ren fest circuit and don’t quite know what to do about it, this presentation and workshop is designed to help you see the way forward and take concrete steps to help ensure your success. Class size limited to 7 participants, roughly a 2 hour class, $50

–Pricing, Contracts, and Negotiations: This workshop focuses on day rates is geared towards entertainers on the Renaissance (and medieval) festival circuit. The evening will include two parts, starting with a lecture on pricing, and then moving into a workshop with each class participant to discuss the nuances of their particular situation. Please come prepared to take notes, ask questions, and be an active participant in your workshop process. Class size limited to 7 participants, roughly a 2 hour class, $50
